Heifer International supports smallholder farmers to sustainably address hunger and poverty in their communities while caring for the Earth. They apply a food systems approach to helping farmers earn more income and to generate economic opportunity for rural women, youth and Indigenous populations.
Lead by our youth, we continue our ongoing collection for the Heifer Project. This year we will collect, in our individually unique coin jars, loose change.
At the end of the year we will count our donations and purchase an animal to gift to a family to help provide food and income and be part of the solution to ease poverty around the world. If you would like a coin jar, contact Julie Fowler, or use any mason jar!
