Ministry with Children and Youth
We are dedicated to nurturing the faith of our children and youth as they grow in their relationship with God. Through engaging programs, meaningful worship opportunities, and hands-on mission projects, we create a loving and supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, build lasting connections, and discover their unique gifts.
From Church School to youth-led services and mission work, our ministry encourages children and youth to live out their faith with purpose, compassion, and joy. Together, we strive to inspire the next generation to walk with Christ and share His love with the world.

4th & 5th Grade Bibles
Every two years, Wilton Presbyterian Church offers a special Church School experience for all fourth and fifth-grade students to deepen their understanding of the Bible. Through a dedicated four-week class, students explore the stories, teachings, and significance of God’s Word, preparing them to read and engage with the Bible on their own with greater understanding and maturity.
At the conclusion of this transformative journey, we celebrate their growth in faith with a special service, where each student receives their own Bible. Surrounded by their parish family, this meaningful tradition honors their readiness to embrace God’s Word as a guiding light in their lives.
Nursery
Every Sunday of the year, children up to four years old are provided a safe, warm, and welcoming environment under the care of our nursery director, Lucia. To learn more about the nursery, click here.
Christmas Pageant
Each year during Advent, the children of Wilton Presbyterian Church bring the story of Christ’s birth to life in our Annual Christmas Pageant. Open to children of all ages, this heartwarming tradition invites young participants to share the joy and wonder of the Nativity through acting, narration, and song.
The pageant is a highlight of the Advent season, bringing together families and the congregation to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Whether your child is a shepherd, angel, or sheep, there’s a place for everyone in this beautiful retelling of the Christmas story.
celebration sunday
Each year, Wilton Presbyterian Church joyfully celebrates Youth Celebration Sunday, a special service where the future of the Church takes center stage. This meaningful tradition highlights the faith formation of our youth as they share their gifts, lead worship, and inspire our congregation with their passion and leadership.
During the service, we also honor our High School Seniors, celebrating their accomplishments and sending them off with blessings as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their journey after graduation.
Youth Celebration Sunday is a powerful reminder of the Holy Spirit at work in our young people and a cherished opportunity to celebrate their role in the life and future of our church.

Youth Mission projects
At Wilton Presbyterian Church, we place a strong emphasis on teaching our youth the importance of giving and serving others. Through our curriculum and hands-on mission projects, children are encouraged to be the hands and feet of God, making a positive impact both within our church family and in the larger world.
Each year, our youth invited to participate in meaningful acts of kindness, such as Soctober, Rise Against Hunger, Rake N Roll, Caroling, Share the Love, and Midnight Run. These mission opportunities allow them to serve their community and grow in faith through action.
One highlight is our Give a Smile project, where Church School classes create small, personalized gifts of food or crafts. These gifts are then gathered into “Give A Smile” bags, which are delivered to members of our congregation, spreading joy and letting them know they are loved and remembered.
Through these projects, our youth learn to live out their faith by showing compassion and care for others, embodying the spirit of Christ in all they do.
