Our Beliefs

We believe…

• All of God’s creation is sacred and we are blessed to be caregivers of this creation.
• All are created in the image and magnificence of God.
• We are decidedly and proudly Christian. Simultaneously, we welcome the wisdom of God that is known through other traditions and faith expressions.
• We understand God more fully through the welcome of all people, especially those the church has historically excluded, namely our LGBTQIA+ siblings.
• In our sacred texts, women’s voices are important. We reflect that in our own community. Regardless of gender or gender-expression, all are welcomed to the fullness of church life and leadership.
• Our bodies are holy and how we maintain them, protect them, use them, and allow them to serve are expressions of faith. Therefore, we as a community support all individuals as they faithfully make choices that are best for them.
• We also believe the fullness of God is best understood through the recognition of and lifting up of all people regardless of our skin color, social location, ethnicity, or heritage. In fact, the world and our faith communities are strengthened as we become more diverse.

We are glad that you found us and that you are here.

We are a welcoming and inclusive congregation seeking both to know Christ and to make Christ known to people from all walks of life.

We pray that we will become better acquainted with you.
