What is Wild Goose Sunday?
An intergenerational communion service where children remain in the service and we do things a bit differently. For example, we had a live chicken teach us about the Heifer project, we “passed the peace” with beach balls, we parted the Red Sea, and a mirror project taught us about peace. It will take place on the first Sunday of each month.
Why is it called “Wild Goose”?
On Wild Goose Sundays, we are following the lead of the “Wild Goose,” a name for the Holy Spirit in Celtic Christianity. When we follow the Wild Goose, we are trusting God enough to try something different and discover new places we wouldn’t have found if we hadn’t followed God’s calling.
You wont want to miss it, you never know what might happen!
