Register now and join us for a visit to Weir Farm National Historical Park on
Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Our visit will include a welcome with a Park Ranger and painting in the landscape with watercolor supplies provided by the park. Bring your picnic blankets and snacks to enjoy, and we will all relax and enjoy time picnicking and painting together. There will also be an optional tour of the Weir House and Studios at 3:30 to learn about the legacy of creativity started by Weir, and the three generations of artists who called Weir Farm home.
Weir Farm National Historical Park is a National Park for Art, a place that has been inspiring artists since 1882 when America’s most beloved Impressionist, Julian Alden Weir, made this his summer home. Today, artists and visitors of all ages come to the park to enjoy the stunning landscape, walk in the footsteps of American masters, and create art!
During the visit, you could also stop by the visitor center to view the exhibits and artwork, become a Junior Park Ranger, enjoy a stroll through the stunning grounds and gardens, or take a hike to Weir Pond! We hope you will join us for a visit to the only national park dedicated to painting!
Space is limited to 25 people and registration is required by September 26th. Parking for our group is in the Overflow/ Group parking lot – please do not park in the main visitor parking area. The lot doors open at 1:30 PM.
