DC Mission Trip
Every February, high school teens journey to Washington DC to spend a week providing hands-on help and communing with the disadvantaged and the homeless. Activities include preparing and serving food in soup kitchens, organizing supplies in food pantries, distributing items to the homebound, helping clean houses for the disabled, and similar good works. The team saves time for group prayer and reflection and even finds a few hours to see some landmarks and enjoy Ben’s Chili Bowl, a favorite dinner spot!
