Directory Update

As we spoke about at the annual meeting, we will soon be upgrading our website and transitioning our directory to Realm. Signing up for realm is optional, as is joining the directory, but to make things easier, we added all active members and friends who were in the old online directory to the new one.

What does this mean?

If you had a listing in our old directory, you should have email on February 10, 2025 saying that your “privacy settings” have changed. This means we have manually added you and made you visible to other members and friends. You were also sent an invitation to set up your Realm account if you haven’t already.

Do I need an account?

You will need a Realm account to view the online directory. You do not need an account to be listed in the directory. If you need assistance signing up or getting in to an existing account, click here to view the walkthrough.

Can I opt out?

Yes! If you’d rather not be in the directory, let us know and we will remove you. You also can change your own privacy settings in your Realm account at any time without having to inform us.

How do I change my privacy settings?

Once you’re signed in, click your name in the top right of the screen and select privacy. It will look like the photo below. The standard selection is to share your profile with “Leaders and Groups”, which will allow anyone also in the WPC Directory Group to see your entry. Below are the customer fields. If you’d like to limit what is listed in the directory without removing it from your profile, you can choose what it visible and to whom. If you have more questions about what these options mean, reach out to the church office for assistance.

 

 

I wasn’t in the old directory. Can I join the new one?

Of course! We recommend signing up for Realm so you can control your own profile and privacy settings, but you can also email the church office your information and we’ll add it for you. Keep in mind you wont be able to view the online directory without an account.

This is too much. Can I have a paper list?

Yes! We are working towards making a nice updated printed directory. This is part of that process, making sure all the information is up to date. Once we have changed over to the new directory, we will work on getting physical copies printed for those that want them. If you need someones contact information during the transition, reach out to the church office and we’ll share it with you ASAP.
